Barmy.

Before a panel of respected uniforms
you're brought,
to bear the consequences
of a battle that is fought,
to give evidence
of subjects somewhat fraught,
to be mocked and jeered at
by the subjects of the court.
Insubstantial evidence
so they say,
but no matter what pills you take
evidently here to stay,
so in exchange for the evidence
you favoured,
you'll be taken to a place
best suited to your labours,
it only exists as an acronym,
a series of letters
that stand for something grim.
