In libraries,
scriberies,
scholastics perform gymnastics,
lies reside inside,
alongside childrens rhymes,
and moral crimes,
words removed by governmental guidelines,
dates changed,
fates chained,
events erased,
replaced and ill fated,
revised and updated,
defamed generals fade away,
dinner on a serving tray,
in nursing homes
where nurses comb
the grey on bald and shining domes,
dethroned
bemoaning the abyss
the plunge
into the precipice.
